The stomatal characteristics in the leaves play a key role to adapt several abiotic stresses such as drought, heat, and salinity. This study was conducted at Seed Science Technology Laboratory, Eskişehir Osmangazi University 2022 order examine abaxial adaxial properties of 9 safflower cultivars (Dinçer 5-18-1, Remzibey-05, Balcı, Yekta, Linas, Olas, Olein, Safir, Zirkon) under salt stress (100 mM NaCl). density, width, length, size, index stomata were measured. data analyzed by two-factor factorial completely randomized design. results showed that significant differences for all features determined. density changed with between 143 57 number mm-2 size observed 510-698 µm2. higher than part on six (Remzibey-05, Safir) decreased In addition, abnormal salt-affected Dinçer Zirkon. mainly depended genetic factors, suggesting it should be used separating cultivars, but they declined considerably It concluded considered clarify tolerance genotypes.
